Šal zemljanih boja II - Earthy colored scarf II
I actually did start with alpaca yarn as planned. I used the ivory colored, a little bit thicker yarn that I have separated from a 3-ply yarn bought ages ago, and a darker brown alpaca yarn that I span myself. Warp is a combination of an interesting earth color yarn and brown lovely 100% alpaca that I bought together with all that alpaca yarn on sale recently. The final result is another earth colored scarf.
Once I took it off the weaving loom it looked a bit boring, so I decided to play with the warp and pulled a few thicker threads of the warp shorter on two or three places. It looks great now, almost like a part of the jacket, there is no need to be tying it, only put around and over the jacket or a coat.
