I did not weave last weekend. While the loom was taking a break, I have finally done some spinning and made a ball of yarn. The first part for it was already done long ago and had been waiting until I put my act together and make another one. Before I get it washed and dried, here are the samples of the latest work. Happy, colorful, sunny, orange scarf. No pattern, only color play, plain weave. Since the colors have been so nice, I decided to mix the thicker thread with two thinner orange shades (one home spun merino, the other alpaca) in the warp, and take only the thick thread for the weft. The scarf was finished quickly, a bit over an hour although it is over 2 meter long, but the thickness of the wool had helped a lot.

KOji prekrasan rezultat za tako malo vremena! Prekrasno mi i toplo djeluju te boje, doduše, ja i inače volim zemljane tonove.
