U pripremi za izlozbu/Preparing for an Exhibition

I managed to catch cold over Easter break. I was sick, with runny nose and not really inspired for any weaving project last week. All I was able to do was to finalize spinning my wool supplies and continue spinning the silk rovings. I made some wild, wild thick wooly yarn, and some lustrous mulberry silk yarn. I will put the photos as soon as I make them.
Otherwise, I have finally set the date for my exhibition in Budapest. From Friday May 25th to 28th, 2007, a selection of my handwoven works will be exhibited at
Treehugger Dan's bookstore/cafe/gallery. If you happen to be around, do drop by and visit. It is a great little place to get all those books you wanted to read, drink a cup of organic coffee, have a chat with the owner and see one or another exhibition and buy a small present for your friends and relatives.
In preparation for the exhibition, I been pushed to finally (start) photographing my works, and - for those of you who will not make it to Budapest in May - here are the photos of my works that have not been shown to public yet. Enjoy!
Potrosila sam svu vunenu predju i napravila veselu, divlju deblju, sarenu vunu, i oprela prekrasnu, tanku svilenu predju. Slike stavljam cim sve poslikam.
Ako ste negdje u kraju, dodjite u posjet.
Uzivajte!

Hi Olinka, thank you for your helpful comments on my blog, especially about my IE problem; I needed that feedback! Sorry to hear about your cold, I hope you're on the mend. Your weaving is lovely. I especially like the last photo; what a wonderful combination of purple, green, and texture!

Vuna (pogotovo malo deblja) ide puno brze nego tanke niti svile, pamuka, lana.
