Svilena vrućina / Silky heat

It is hot. Very hot. The temperature continues to be very high (36 degrees C some minutes ago), on the sun a lot hotter. It is hard to be doing anything, but I ocassionally sit at the spinning wheel thinking that the spinning wheel will produce some wind and would help me cool down. Wishfull thinking, since it remains hot nevertheless.
Despite that, I have managed to produce 2 skeins of double plied silk yarn and one single skein. Just started working on the next single ply skein, but if it persists with the heat, it will take awhile until I am done. The plan is to color the skeins using the black tea, which I have recently experimented with and the resulted color was fabolous.

I did use a mordant. Not sure whether that is the best of the available options, but I have put some drops of vinegar. It did work out, although the shade is a little different then on the sample I did recently. I will put the photos in the next post and you will be able to see it. Olinka!
