Kvarner Expo
Uskrsnji praznici su za nama. U petak smo se neplanirano nasli u Opatiji gdje se odrzavao Kvarner Expo - izlozba hrvatskih suvenira. Ja sam naravno, bila u potrazi za za rucnim radovima, tkanjem. Na izlozbi je bio impresivan broj izlagaca, iako su tekstilni radovi bili uglavnom prosjecni i nije ih bilo puno.
Easter holidays are behind us. Last Friday we happened to visit Opatija where a three day event called Kvarner Expo was taking place. It is an annual exhibition of Croatian souvenirs. Well, as you can imagine, I searched for the weavers, hand-made textile and related items. Honestly, I was very impressed by the amount of exhibitors and their creativity, although the textile works were so, so. Here are just some of the photo impressions:
